I took Owen in for his 9 month well baby check up today. The nurse had me strip him down and go into the hall to weigh him.
21 pounds, 12 ounces

I put a diaper on him and she measured his length and his head and went out of the room to chart his stats. A few minutes later, she came back and said that she had to measure him again because his length was a huge jump. She measured him again and he was the exact same - 29.5 inches. She said that he must've had a pretty big growth spurt since he laid very still and her measurement was accurate. So on the charts, he is in the 80th percentile for height, 70th percentile for weight and 75th percentile for head.
When the doctor came in, she was shocked at how big he was. She even looked back at her charts because she said she would have never, ever guessed by looking at him that he was 10 weeks premature. YEAY!!!
Overall, he's doing great. She told us to work on clapping and waving with him and to put toys up on the ottoman so he will stand and play. She said that typically babies start to do these things around 9 months, but that he may be a little bit later.
He got his flu shot and he didn't even cry! He whimpered a tiny bit after she walked away from him and then he started squirming around, ready to get out of there.
