After Owen was born, Paul and I really wanted to do the March for Babies to help raise money for the March of Dimes. They are a great organization that does research on prematurity, birth defects and infant health. They also partner with families that have babies in the NICU and are their advocates. Last year, the walk happened right after we brought Owen home, so we weren't able to go.
Our friends, the Wiggins family, had their twins prematurely and were in the NICU when we were. They started a team and we decided to join with them and walk to show our gratitude for all that the March of Dimes' research did to help Owen become the strong, healthy little boy that he is today.

Thank you so much for walking with us and joining our team! I think our friends, the Utech's, are going to walk with us as well. She mentioned her aunt could make us some team shirts. I will get more details and keep you posted on that. Looking forward to walking with your family and also our play date next weekend!
