Pumpkins, Buddies and The Boo Bash

Last night Owen and I painted the pumpkins we got at the pumpkin patch while daddy worked on the deck.  I'll have to post some progress photos...the problem is that is is too dark to take them in the morning and it is now fairly dark when we get home and get organized enough to get outside with a camera!  Anyway, back to the pumpkin painting!  He thought it was so funny that we were painting on our pumpkins!  He had a blast.

Tonight was the Kowalski's Boo Bash.  For those of you following us from out of town, Kowalski's is a local grocery store that always puts on a really nice event for the kids each year.  They get to follow the perimeter of the store and "trick-or-treat" for animal crackers, cheese sticks, apples, Cheetos, pretzels, a few little candies, etc.  Ronda invited us all to go together and then go back to her house for pizza afterwards.  It was such a great time!  The boys loved being together and the Shaffer girls (the kids Ronda watched before our boys) are old enough that they helped play with the boys (who idolize them!) so we could enjoy a few minutes of adult conversation.  It was such an enjoyable evening!
Owen and Ronda watching the kids in costumes
 K.C. and baby Logan
Our two little fireman checking each other out

Sully insisted on carrying his goodies
But finally agreed to put them in his bag

This was my best attempt at capturing 7 smiling faces in one photo!
Owen smirking because he has the girls to himself, well with baby Logan of course!
Enjoying some dinner with Buzz Lightyear
And showing off because he's with the girls
Looking at Ronda's "fortune teller" in the parlor
Making each other giggle! :)  Such good buddies!

Owen looks like such a big boy (not a toddler) painting pumpkins! Wow!
