Wuv You

Today is Father's Day and I am very, very lucky to have an amazing Dad and to have married a man who is an incredible Daddy.  We started off the day by bringing Daddy his presents to open in bed.  Then we took him to breakfast and went to church.  After church, Nana and Papa came over to enjoy lunch with us.  Our plan was to head to the nature center after nap, but the rain kind of changed plans for us.  Instead we enjoyed root beer floats and played Thomas trains!  Still a wonderful day to celebrate two very special dads!

Owen and Paul outside of the restaurant.  Notice Paul's tie...Owen colored it for him at daycare with markers.  He was very excited about it, so Paul wore it.  He took a little razzing at church for wearing shorts, flips flops and a tie, but he was proud of it none the less.
Getting in a little bit of coloring before the pancakes arrived
Pretty curious about the "Superman" Linus
Who knew that "Cheese Louise" could evoke such belly laughs?
Love this picture of Papa and Owen

Part of Paul's gift was an orange M&M bucket filled with M&M's.  Owen not only wanted to crack open the M&M's, but he thought it was pretty funny to wear the bucket on his head!

It's been several months since O has worn jammies with feet.  For whatever reason, tonight I put them on him before bed.  He kept saying, "Jammie shoes?"  Other cute things he did this week:  he now covers his mouth with his hands when he giggles, he started saying, "I know!" and best of all, tonight before bed, he told Paul, "Wuv you!"  We always try to get him to say it back to us when we say it to him, but he never will.  Tonight was the very first time and how fitting that it was to Paul on Father's Day!
