Nakee and the Splash Park

A new splash park opened near our house this week.  It was beautiful out today, so it was the perfect day to try it out!  The water is pretty cold, but Owen had a lot of fun.  All the way home, he said, "Fun!"  Because the swim diapers aren't very absorbant, we waited to change him into his "water shorts" until we got there.  As he was off and running, I realized that I put them on backwards!  It was too late...he wasn't about to let me change them!

When Owen doesn't have a shirt on, he says that he is nakee.  So now anytime he sees someone with no shirt on, he says they are nakee.  There was a man there with just swim trunks on and Owen yells that he's nakee.  Every time the man walked to a different area, Owen kept asking, "happened a nakee man?"  Paul said that our neighbor drove by this morning and was wearing a tank top.  He had his arm resting on his car door and Owen saw that he didn't have sleeves, so he called him nakee too!
