It was a fun weekend at our house. Paul is still working hard on refinishing a swing set that some friends of ours gave us, so I've been trying to come up with fun things to keep Mr. O busy. Saturday morning I did another 5k - this one benefitting Children's Cancer Research. Seeing all of the signs along the course with names of children that lost their battles with cancer made me so sad and so grateful at the same time. Some days with a 2 year old can be trying, but it is days like Saturday that make me so grateful to be a mom of a 2 year old!
My budding little artist!
Enjoying lots of not-so-good for us food like onion rings, and chocolate malt at Snuffy's Malt Shop
Some friends of ours have a house on the bluffs overlooking Hudson and they have a big 4th of July party every year. I was a little worried how he would be given that he's afraid of thunder, he's never stayed up that late, and it was so hot. He did SO well! He found a friend and became the life of the party at about 9:00 when he was starting to get sleepy.
He had everyone belly laughing right along with him! :)
