Dinosaurs, Dolphins and Best Buddies

Today we met Sully and Liam and their families at the MN Zoo so we could check out the dinosaur exhibit and see the dolphins on their last day at the zoo.  It was VERY warm out, but we all had a great time.  I think it made us all feel better to be together on the day before we transition to new daycares too.

This is my favorite picture of the day.  I love the looks on Liam and Owen's faces.

I was a little curious to see how they'd do with the dinosaurs.  They are very big and they roar at you, so I thought they might be afraid.  They were all cautious, but by the end of the exhibit, they were fine.

Owen kept wanting to get closer to them, but you have to stay on the path.  At the end, there were two that the kids could climb on.

After a water break, we headed for the playground that Ronda told us about.  It was great!

Thankfully, K.C. had a few swim diapers in her bag, so we stripped the boys down and let them run through the splash pad to cool off before lunch.

After lunch, we saw a few more exhibits, then it was home for a nap.  All the boys were asleep within minutes of getting strapped into their car seats! 

 What a great day with such great people!  We are going to miss seeing them everyday, but hopfully we can plan outings like this on a regular basis so the boys can still see each other.
