Happy Retirement Nema!

Yesterday we hosted a surprise retirement party for Ronda.  I love to entertain, and it was a really fun party to get ready for.  It was great to have everyone together again.

Desserts!  YUM!  We ordered some mini tarts from Lake Elmo Inn because it is one of Ronda's favorite restaurants.

 No party is complete without a visit from the Cottage Grove PD, right?  One of Ronda's older grandson's "pocket dialed" 911, so we had two officers knock on the door mid-party.

 Each family took a moment to share some memories and to thank Ronda for all that she's done for us.  Here Sully's dad, Justin, shared some of his favorite memories.

 Present time!

 The "Ronda" basket that we put together has gift cards to all of her favorite stores and restaurants, a blouse, a purse, some earrings, a photo album and some Halloween decorations since she LOVES Halloween.

 We also got a throw with our kids' photos on it.  She loved it!

 The boys had a great time being together again!

 And then after the boys got to sit on TT's motorcycle, it was time for the fun to end.
