Sleepy Sunday

I caught daddy and Owen taking a little snooze yesterday during their skin to skin holding. Such cute boys! The nurse sitting in the background is where his nurses sit to monitor him when they aren't in the room with us or with the other baby that they are assigned to during their shift.

Some of you have asked how Owen gets fed, so I decided to take a photo of his feeding pump to share with you. The nurse puts the milk into the syringe, loads it into the machine, then sets how long she wants it to take to disperse it. Typically, Owen gets his feedings over 30 minutes. The milk slowly gets pushed through the tube you see here, which goes into his nose, down his throat and into his tummy.
